Sheriff Owenby showed me his loyalty and dedication to service and his citizens when I arrived to assist with hurricane Helene. He was committed to making sure his coworkers had what was needed to continue law enforcement services in conditions never seen before in the western part of the state. I was impressed with his ability to overcome the many challenges that were presented after the storm and provide for his office and the citizens he was sworn to protect.
